The Zoo

The plan that day was to go hike Diamond Head--but we got a late start and then there wasn't any parking. As the day was getting hot, we decided to hit the zoo right around the corner.
How far are we from EVERYWEHRE? Check it out:
Marcus loved petting the llama. Ry refused to go near it after reading the sign which informed visitors that these things will spit on us if they're uncomfortable.

In a kiddie corner, there was toys and costumes (the kids could dress up as zoo workers).

The reptile house was by far one of the best things. Marcus saw "geckos" EVERYWHERE!
So there's this HUGE tank full of some of the BIGGEST fish I've ever seen--and there's a tunnel for kids/adults to crawl through so that you can see them up close.
How big is this fish? Check out Ry's reflection on the glass and that'll give you an idea....The thing was ginormous.

It was a hot day and a certain tiger decided a dip in the pool was in order...I tended to agree with him.
These other three kept to the shade...and they knew it was lunch time. They were pacing as their lunch was being prepared.
