This was our first time back since Randy and Joycelyn were here (and then the waves were too big to swim). We set up chairs for Mom and Dad (who were enjoying the view) and then got the kids ready for the water. See the big rock to my left? Jacob spied that and wanted to jump off of it. So he and I headed in that direction.
I don't know of anyone who abides this sign.
And yet, here we are. You know, during the summer, you usually can't see this rock cause it's completely covered by people. And you usually can't see this rock during the winter either, cause the waves are so high they completely cover it. Anyway, so here I am (Jacob chickened out at the top...and I don't blame him) trying to get over my nerves and just jump.
Um, ow. The water smacks a bit, but otherwise it was fun. :) Who's up for doing it with me?
The pull of the water was too strong for Marcus to play on the shore. So I took him out a bit farther...and didn't realize how far we went til Ry came and got us later. I had Ry time me out there (23 min of treading water is a good workout...or so I hear). ;)
He's never going to live this picture down. EVER.

I have the feeling you guys are never going to be able to live away from the water after this.
