Ko'Olina

Ready for a gorgeous day at the beach. Papa is sporting the shirt Ry got for him at Romy's.

We parked in lagoon #4 but walked down to #3 since they have the lawn chairs. Quite a scenic walk there. Along the way, Mom and Dad glimpsed the Black Pearl.

I really think that they were blown away by the beauty of it all. The sky happened to be a majestic blue that day. The water was so clear and blue also.

Mom sporting her bathing suit and sassy hat.
So this is new--normally there's just a bunch of lounging chairs that say they're for hotel guests only. But this time we saw a bunch of these things. You can rent them for 4 hours at a time for an insanely low price. Not bad! On top of that, there's a little bar just behind them where we ordered some drinks--a nice round of pina coladas! They were the absolute best that I've had on the island so far.
This was their view from their chairs.

Julia was snorkeling and also just swimming with some borrowed flippers. The owner of the flippers has some feet that are quite a bit larger than her own. It was hilarious watching her as she tried walking back up the beach. For the most part, she walked up backwards.
Mom joined us in the water for a bit to play around with the grandkids. Afterwards, she soaked up some sun with some of her favorite boys.
