Surprise!

Remember this thingy which I was trying to restore health to?

I had a surprise last week when I went outside to water the plants...it sprouted this beautiful pink flower!

And this is what it looks like today! The flower (I assume that's what it is) is getting quite long now. Hooray for green thumbs!
