Bubbles, side walk chalk, bike riding, wii....summer's in full swing!

Well, the slip 'n' slide isn't going to hold their attention all day, every day. So one more trip to walmart and we came home with the makings of F-U-N. Each kid has their own bubble wand now. They love them cause they can wave them around and huge bubbles come floating out, or they can blow in them and a million smaller bubbles swarm around them, OR they can just stand there and the wind blow the bubbles out for them. :)

Side walk chalk! Can't have a good outdoor summer without it! Especially with our talented artist! She's in love with sea turtles at the moment, hence her awesome drawings.

I had Jacob lay down so that I could draw the outline of his body. He then got to make his face and decorate it to his liking.

Gotta love hopscotch!

Jacob sure does.

Anyone watch Phineas and Ferb? Julia is completely addicted to that show (if she had her way, she'd be watching it 24/7). She's figured out how to draw Perry the Platipus.

I'm not sure WHY, but Jacob started to try eating the bubbles as they went around him. You can also see how the wind is blowing Marcus's bubbles for him.

You can catch a glimpse here of our culdesac--and see how crowded we are! Lots of housing, lots of kids, little parking. ;) But every day (and night) all the kids are on their bikes. Ryan joined the kiddos last night in going around the neighborhood.

When it starts to get dark outside, it's time to come inside. But the night is still young (when not in school). We finally received our wii on yesterday. So after heading inside, Ryan and Jacob put it to good use.
