The girl who swore off reading ("It's BORING, Mom!), who refused to read anything that didn't have pictures (and even then it was iffy), who made it feel like I was trying to pull teeth to get her to read ANYTHING....is now reading! Julia has the complete How To Train Your Dragon series (which she has read over and over), Diary of a Wimpy Kid series (read over and over, too), and just today, I convinced her to pick up Percy Jackson and the Olympians Lightning Thief. She came tearing into the kitchen "MOM! This book is soooooo good! Oh, wait--OH NO! I'm becoming a bookworm just like YOU!"
