Jacob came home with a Regatta kit for cub scouts. I don't EVER recall my brothers doing this when they were in scouts...I've never even seen this before. We decided to take a crack at it anyway. Jacob is sanding his boat down on the edges to make it all nice and smooth.
Next comes the paint job. I bought some acrylic paint and let him choose which colors he wanted to use.
He is his dad's son! I helped write the name on the sides, while Julia lent us her artistic skills for the sail. She drew the horse and Jacob traced it with the paint brush.
The finished project!
